নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা : কাশি বোস লেনের এ বছরের থিম চায়না হতে উমা। একদিকে মা ,অন্য দিকে মেয়েরা তারাই আবার পণ্য। পণ্য হিসেবে পরিচিত হতে হতে নারীরা এখন ক্লান্ত। কাশী বোস লেন দুর্গোৎসব কমিটি মায়ের কাছে সমাজের সেইসব অশুরকে বিনাশ করার আর্জি জানাচ্ছে , যারা প্রতিপদে নারীকে পণ্য হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে চাইছে তাদের বিন্যাসে ব্রতী । তাই দেবী উমার কাছে অভিমানী আবেদন “চাই না হতে উমা” কাশি বোশ লেন এই ভাবনার মাধ্যমেই পূজা মণ্ডপ টিকে সাজিয়ে তুলেছেন।

Correspondent: The theme chosen by Kashi Bosch Lane for this year is “China hote Uma.” This theme highlights a stark duality – on one side, women are revered as mothers, while on the other, they are tragically reduced to mere commodities. The weariness of women being regarded as commodities has become all too prevalent. In response, the Kashi Bosch Lane Durgotsava Committee has made a heartfelt plea to the goddess, urging her to vanquish the malevolent forces within society that seek to exploit women and treat them as mere objects. In this spirit, Kashi Bosh has passionately implored Goddess Uma, stating, “Chai na hake Uma,” and the Puja Mandap has been adorned with this thought-provoking theme.
